Meine Motivation
Ich sammele für aus folgendem Grund:
Prostate cancer

Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. As some of you may know, this year, I added to this fateful statistic. I had two tumours in my prostate, one was quite close to the outer wall which, once breached, can lead to aggressive metastatic cancer. Despite having no symptoms but given my family history, a routine examination led to a diagnosis I may have anticipated in later life, but never expected at age 59. My doctors at the Hirslanden Clinic here in Zürich and a radical prostatectomy saved my life. Further, without the love and support of my dear wife Asha, I could not have faced the post-op process and slow recovery. Today, as I write, I am cancer free and beginning to come to terms with life's impermanence. We must, therefore, continue to raise awareness and the early diagnosis of this terrible disease that can lay waste to an otherwise healthy and productive life. WAIT NO LONGER, have a regular PSA blood test and watch out for any tiny signs of anything out of the ordinary. I can help you identify these if you drop me a private note. Timely diagnosis means you have a range of treatment options that can preserve your quality of life and give you many more years to cherish life itself and all it has to offer.
